How exciting...

I know what your all thinking following last week,

Will Richard tell me about his top ten tv shows and books and make it all rhyme

No, No I won't

Instead I want to talk to you about excitement,

I'm not talking about the excitement you feel when your about to go on a roller coaster, or the excitement you feel when your about to see the love of your life in person,

I'm talking the completely irrational excitement you feel in the weirdest of situations.

It's hard to count how many times I stood at the edge of something tall and felt a rush of excitement, or when a song you like starts playing on your headphones.

But a strange thing happened to me this week.

I was waiting for the train like I do everyday, I had my head phones in, my gloves on and (I'm guessing) a vacant look on my face. suddenly over the loud speakers was a normal "the next train at platform one yadda yadda yadda" and for some completely unexplainable reason I felt a rush of excitement and pulled out my headphones to listen.

This only lasted about 3 seconds. But it bothered me all day, why on earth did an announcement I have heard a million times before make me react like that?

It was not even the announcement for my train...

I've spoken to a few people about this, and it seems like i'm not the only person something like this has happened to. So I'm not that much of a freak. But still...
