Now before I begin I would just like to inform you that you may not of received a Thursday post this week or any other week for that matter as this week I nearly died.
I hear you gasp, I hear your hand slap against you open mouth in shock. I hear one of you shouting "Who is going to have his 3DS?" and so on and all that.
This is what happened.
Date: 04/04/11. Location: Birmingham City Centre. Target: Tesco Metro.
Me and the mrs were walking around town and we decided to get something to eat. We entered Tesco Metro at around 6:15pm and were greeted by a warm sausage roll and a cheese and bacon twist that was waiting for us within the heated counter thingy. They were both reduced. Having had the sausage rolls before we decided to get both. The mrs had the cheese twist I had the sausage roll. Knowing she is quite fussy with food I told her to take a bite first and then see what she thought. If she didnt like it we would swap. She didnt like it.
I noticed that she had only taken a bite out of the cheese/pastry bit and not any of the bacon. I ate the rest while she ate the sausage roll in one gulp (she has a talent) we then parted ways and came home.
I was fine that evening and into the night until I went to sleep.
Date: 05/04/11. Location: The Corner aka Home Target: Anything with cash.
I woke up early and found myself to have very painful stomach pains. I was due to travel across the globe and go around to the mrs house to spend the day in bed watching digital versatile disks like Juno and Pokemon and not to mention the old favorite **** ** ** ***** haha! anyway. I rang her and informed her of my illness, she began to break down. I told her I didnt think i had much time left. I fell back to sleep. When I awoke 2 hours later I ran to the bathroom. My head began to spin and sick exploded across the entire room, the stomach acid burnt the wallpaper from the walls, the bath melted, the shower burst into flames and then just as I was about to take my last breath, the one and only Pocahontas came in and took me away. When I woke up around another 3 hours later I still felt ill as hell. I ended up staying in bed and writing my will. By that I was drawing on myself. By the evening I felt better, still had stomach pains and my back was killing but better non the less. I had to ring work and explain the situation. As I work in food I had to have the following day off :( which for most people would of been AWESOME but as I love my job I was kind of gutted.
I awoke Wednesday morning perfectly fine :)
And that is the end of that. Bing bamma boom, mom is your uncle!
Well not true. Having been in birmingham city again today I noticed that greggs now makes me feel sick, I have a new hate for tesco and as I ate crisps the night I became ill I can no longer look at crisps in the same way.
My opening was far too long.
FAR TOO LONG.
So onwards and upwards.
I brought two games for my 3DS.
Super Monkey Ball 3D
Which although the 3D effects are good the game itself is pretty much.....POO. Seriously. You have 80 levels to complete. It took me an hour to complete them all.The only things to do after that is either beat your score or play Monkey Ball Racing which is basically a rip off of mario Kart or you can play this bash around game thing which is also a rip off of Super Smash Bros and is so hard that even the guys who made the game would play it and be like WTF THIS SHIT IS HARD.
I gave it 3 brains because although its short the 3D effects are awesome and the levels although short are quite fun, I have played them more than once. So I think 3 brains is pretty reasonable.
The second game is:
Lego Star Wars III: Clone Wars
Now this game I don't actually find all that very 3D. When I switch the 3D slider from 3D to 2D there isnt actually all that much difference. You can see a change but not much. Either way its still better in 3D :P Having only completed 9.8% of this game so far I am actually really enjoying it and this is a game I had no intention of buying. Its funny, has loads to do and tbh im actually starting to like Star Wars a little. Plus its lego so its a win anyway. Im not too sure how many levels are in this game as im only on level 5 so ill update you as I progress but either way im enjoying it and ill give this a 4 brains : )
4 brains because although im enjoying it I think the 3D price difference for the '3D' isnt actually worth it.
I also watched Sucker Punch which was EPIC and I would give it a 5 brains. I wont do the whole review thing though as richard already has.
So to end with my Birthday is in 13 days :) Ill be 16.
