Lady Gaga's BORN THIS WAY album leaked the other night. :D and although it appears to of VANISHED from the internet (thanks web sheriff) I managed to get it!!!
All 14 glorious standard edition songs.
And if im perfectly honest. This album is..... BEYOND EPICCCCCC!!!!
Being a huge GAGA fan I was a little sceptical when the odd song popped up. I loved born this way when it was first released and then I became addicted to Judas. The Edge of glory stuck with me for a week none stop and then BOOM Hair came out which is awesome.
Then comes farmville. Farmville have teamed up with GAGA and created GAGAVILLE. Complete 3 tasks a day to hear a new song each day. So first came Marry the night. Another awesome song. I managed to download it and then that night, that very sexy night at 2am the album leaked LEAKED IT LEAKKKKKEEEDDDDDDDD. Downloaded, put onto my phone, laptop off, earphones in, laying in bed BOOOOOM 4:20AM I ended up falling asleep.
The following day Electric Chapel was released on farmville and today came the first track that I have heard from the Deluxe Edition. Fashion of his love.
Listening to this today I was surprised to hear the lines:
"No I just can't seem to forget you
Not ever just as long as I left you
Your my baby, you
Never made it through to you"
Which were taken from another song, An unreleased old song that Gaga wrote called. 'Then you'd love me' which tbh fits nicely with this song. I can see why she would reuse old lyrics and add them to a new song as the song was never officially released. The fashion of his love has a very 80s feel to it. Its all disco tech beats with the odd jingle.
Farmville aside, the album is awesome!
Bad kids and Bloody Mary being my favorite. I love the opening line to bad kids "Im a bitch, Im a loser, raver baby, I should quit" Bad kids was one of the songs I wanted to hear more than any other. Mainly because so many 'Official' instrumentals leaked online that I wanted to if any of them were real, turns out none of them were :P
The beat to Bloody mary is a mix of dark beats and sex. I love it. "I wont cry for you, I will crucify all the things that you do. I wont cry for you, see, When you're gone ill still be bloody mary" Its a song that I can imagine dancing to in a hot dark room. Trying to seduce someone with dancing, an odd touch of the body, a twirl of the dance. Sex Sex Sex. :D
Scheiße: Previously first heard at the Mugler fashion show but it was a remixed version of the song. The original isnt much different to the remix you hear. "I wish I dance on a single prayer, I wish I could be strong without somebody there, I wish I could be strong when I have to Scheiße again"
Its definatly one I expect to hear blasting out of night clubs. This really is a dance tune <3
I think one of my top three songs from the album has to be Americano. First heard at one of the last Monster Ball shows in Mexico around 3 weeks ago. "If you love me, we can marry on the west coast" "I don't speak your language, oh no. I don't speak you're americano" Its a fast paced, jazz fix thats none stop. Imagine the film "the mexican" and then add a bucket of speed and a guitar and you're there!
Speaking of sex. Government Hooker was also heard at the follow up to Muglers first fashion show in which Lady Gaga made her modelling debut! The song was once again remixed however the opening of the song is the same as the original as well is the beat. "I can be good, if you want to be bad" "I can be cool if you just want to mad" "I could be sex, unless you want to hold hands" "I could be anything, I could be everything, I could be mom, Unless you want to be dad. Aslong as im your hooker" I actually really like this song, I think a dirty pervert smile sneaks across my face when this song is playing. It seriously is so catchy.
Electric chapel. Opens with an electric guitar solo and then the piano jumps in with what also sounds like a triangle. This song is very very 80s electro. Definately alot of electric beats. "Come and meet me in Electric Chapel" I imagine this song to be in a film where 2 people are searching for each other in downtown new york. Plenty of leather and all that :D
Heavy Mental Lover. This first appeared in one of the many Gagavision blog videos she posts. Once again its sexy. Her use of vocals in this song, sort of a croaking whisper that turns the beat and mix of electric into a full blown orgasm. "Heavy mental lover. I could be your girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl because you love me if I ruled the world" It also reminds me of daft punk with a robotic voice jumping in just before the song hits the 3 minute mark.
Highway Unicorn starts off as a bursting ballad and then switches to a beat and the words "run run" repeating over and over again before it changes to "run run with the top down baby she flies" and once again dirty electric noise filling rhythm of the song in. This song is about love, unicorns and pretty much doing anything together.
Now the other songs which are available already im not really going to bother talking about. As you can hear them for yourself. So thats: You & I, Hair, Born this way, Judas, Electric Chapel, Marry The night and Fashion of his love oh and the edge of glory. Although check out the BBC live version of The edge of Glory she makes the original so much better.
The other songs Black Jesus and The Queen I am yet to hear and as the album leaked I will wait until my album arrives in the post (I preordered the deluxe edition ages ago) and then let you know about those two next week. I can wait....
So anyway to sum up the album is amazing. I actually cannot say I dislike any of the songs as tbh I dont. Every song is different, fresh and it was well worth the wait. Gaga has created something different here and for me im over the moon. Its just....SEXY!
Definatly a 5 out of 5!!!

Oh now onto other news.
My house is getting there. Everything is unpacked everywhere now :D just need to get a sofa as the floor and chairs are starting to make my ass cry. HA!
