A new big budget special effects blockbuster for Disney but is John Carter the latest Sci fi epic or not. John Carter begins this adventure searching in the hills of wild west looking for a legendary lost cave of gold when is he is unexpectedly transported to Mars, a inhabited but dying plant in the middle of a civil war.

The different atmosphere on Mars makes John a lot stronger with the ability to jump very long distances. shortly after arriving on Mars John is Meets Princess Dejah who convinces him to help her find a way to save her planet and stop the civil war.

overall John Carter is a pretty enjoyable film not so much of a sci fi epic I'd hope for but still a very enjoyable film worthy of seeing.
