Games Nostalgia Time.

It's time for Simon to reminisce about the "good old day" of gaming. Yes the day when you picked games not by the story or game play, but by how good the box looked. here's a small selections my earliest gaming experienced that have nothing to do with Mario or Sonic.

The Addams Family. (1992)

You play as Gomez, the rest of the family have been kidnapped and imprisoned in varies parts parts of the family mansion and it's up to you to save them. Game play wise it's your typical Mario clone, the mansion is divided into different sections one for each kidnapped family member and you can play them in any order you like. it's was really fun and some times creepy to wonder about the different sections. Especially the one section that had nothing in it but Thing a Lurch playing a creepy tune.

MYTH: History in the making. (1989)

Playing as a mortal man charged by the goods to destroy several mythical creatures including Madusa and thor. It's a typical side scrolling platformer  where each level is based on a different mythological period . you jump from platform to platform collecting different weapons and spells to fight off bad guys, bad guy who keep re-spawning no matter how many of them you kill.

Micro Machines 2 (1996)

Everyone remembers the Micro Machines. The tiny toy cars that you lost as soon as you got them because they where so small. Well they made a game about it as well  which was just like most racing games of the time but the car drove on over sized home made tracks. Such as the kitchen or a pool table. It also had a feature where you could play two player head to head with one controller, hours of fun.
