The Transformers have been around for ages. starting out as a line of children's toys has since spawn a cult tv show with a large number of spin off's not mention books and comics and a film which despite the 80's cheese is pretty awesome. Transformers is now a house hold name, with popularity like this a bid budget live action film franchise was inevitable. I can't help but wonder with all that potential, how did they get it so wrong?
Problem #1
These two, first you have Shia Labeouf a man who on no account should be given a leading role. At best he should get the wise cracking sidekick. Only to feed his ego enough so he doesn't become a serial killer. then Megan Fox the worlds most overrated person, make that thing in the whole world. These two do nothing but nothing and when they're not doing nothing they're stealing credit for saving the world.
Problem #2
Villains define a series just as much as the heroes. So after spending so much time making the autobots colourful and awesome, why did they do the same with the Decepticon? they all look like piles of scrap metal. they're loads of unique characters on the Decepticon side but nobody can tell cause they all look alike!
Problem #3
A script, remember these Mr Bay? You use to flick thought them in between explosions when you were working on Bad boys, no? i've seen all three film now and I don't really remember any of them but normally it has something to do with everyone being shocked and surprised when giant robots turn up even when anyone who could have done anything about this has at least two of them hidden in there basement.
Problem #4
