Dear Zombie
Outbreak
This will be my last post (unless your new Thursday poster asks me to cover for him, which I imagine will happen)
I will leave you with a letter I e-mailed to Galaxy today (the chocolate company, not the phone) regarding the standard of their product, I am yet to get a reply.

Dear
Galaxy
I am very sad face.
Just got a bag of
minstrels (170g) from Tesco in Bournville, opened them and the shells
were all discoloured to a light brown/grey.
Not to be one that
gives up in the face of adversity, I decided to eat one of said
Minstrels.
I tasted what could only be described as the type of chocolate that your nan gets you after Easter from the pound shop that has clearly gone off but no one cares because you've got 50 chocolate coins for 20p.
I tasted what could only be described as the type of chocolate that your nan gets you after Easter from the pound shop that has clearly gone off but no one cares because you've got 50 chocolate coins for 20p.
It didn't taste as it normally does, I
was so distressed that I screamed “WHY?!” at next doors cat and
began sobbing uncontrollably into the carpet in my living room.
Whereas normally I would be comforted with chocolate in such a
situation I was unable to find solace because I had purchased a lie.
I would have gone out to return the bag but it was raining and I
don't like rain.
I just thought you should be aware! The bag was
not open before hand, and was in date.
How can this happen? I fear
I may never be able to eat Minstrels again because of the emotional
trauma this has caused me.
I hope there is not an outbreak of
mouldy Minstrels in Birmingham, I don’t want others to go though
the pain I have suffered.
I have included a picture of said
chocolates, if you can call them that, shaped into a broken heart (as you have broken mine) and a sad face (as mine is)
(please ignore the state of my coffee table, I was unable to see it to clean it with all the tears in my eyes)
Yours Weeping Uncontrollably
