Geek music.

As established in a much much early post, I have horrible taste in music, my play lists are full of rubbish that would embarrass me if someone else came across my ipod.

But one thing i do like is geek music, so in this post i'm going to list my top 5 geek musicians in no particular order.

note: This is meant to serve only as an introduction into the world of geek music, and there are a lot of great music I have not mentioned here,

1. Jonathan Coulton

I would be loath not to mention Johnathan Coulton not only is he a great singer but his geek credentials are as long as my arm, He wrote the end music for the portal games for heathens sake!

2. Duane and Brando.

A sadly now defunct group, who made nerdcore rap songs to the tunes of some of your Favourite video game music.

Both Duane and brando now sing and record separately but its the stuff they made together i like the best.

3. Adam Warrock


Another great Geek rapper, and the mind behind the excellent Browncoats mix tape. Adam Warrock has a great selection of songs about all manor of geek culture

4. Lemon Demon


Also known as Neil Cicierega, Lemon Demon not only has a great selection of Geeky songs, he is aldo one of the minds behind the classic internet cartoon, the potter puppet pals.

Also, in a round about kind of way Lemon demon is responsible for my friendship with almost half the other authors on this blog. True story.

5. Tobuscus

Also known as Toby Turner, Tobuscus is a youtuber behind a ton of hilarious vlogs, actual plays and other videos that down fall into any category.

He is also behind a ton of awesome music, some great minecraft songs, awesome Literal trailers and some other music that is just awesome on its own.
