If you haven't guessed by now, Avenue Q was finally viewed by four of the Zombie Outbreak team! Me, Friday Voni, Monday Richard and Tuesday Shanice were the lucky four to see the musical comedy show of Avenue Q on it's last day of it's Birmingham tour!

After about two years of me and Monday Richard singing along to every single song from the soundtrack, we finally got the chance to see the show in person. It's safe to say, it was freaking amazing! If you ever find it's playing anywhere near you, I would highly recommend you go see it! To describe it in one sentence, it is essentially Sesame Street for adults. It has many great songs, which do feature a few swears, one being well-known around the internet, 'The Internet Is For Porn'. Which one character attempts to tell about how useful the internet can be whilst the other interrupts by making it about porn. Brilliant!
There are songs for all to enjoy, whether it about accepting a friend of being gay, people being racist, having sex very loudly or just about getting people to raise money! It's fun for all those willing to be entertained by very musical puppets and a couple of real actors/actresses including one playing Gary Coleman. Yes, you read that correctly, Gary Coleman. How can that not be entertaining?!?
So, seeing as it has now finished it's Birmingham tour, you will have to hope it comes to a theatre near you or do what me and Monday Richard did and watch/make videos to do with Avenue Q until it comes to your town!
Also, either the rapture didn't happen yesterday or I (and you, whoever is reading this) are some of the few people that will be heading off to hell in October!
See you there!!

I was really impressed with it, shame it doesn't seem to be as widely known as it should be! Then again, I don't suppose it can be when it features full on puppet sex...
