Student Noms

Student friendly food places

Students of the world!

Are you fed up of your tinned beans diet?

Are you feeling the pinch due to high education fees?

Do you like nice foods?

If you answered yes to any of the above, or you're a bit peckish, do read on!

I've found a good few places that are good for your social life and your wallet!

This week...
The Handmade Burger Company
– delicious gourmet burgers!

When cold fries and a bland burger just doesn't cut it any more, the Handmade Burger Co fills the void.Forget queuing for mystery meat at one of those fast food chains! They make it fresh for you with fancy meats and salads; even the onion rings and the chunky chips are handmade, which are to die for! They go nicely with the little dinky sauces!

Even picky eaters will find something to drool over as the restaurant has an impressive array of burgers with over 40 available. My favourites are the Smokey Barbecue and Caribbean Salsa! Gosh I'm hungry now!

And they have nice tea (which is imperative for us British!)  and cold drinks. They have a lot of wine too for those who want to act more mature! They have a really nice atmosphere with smiley staff and a cool layout. It's really nice to go there with friends and relax and watch the world go by. It's right on the canal too so it's very scenic.

One burger is big enough ,and tasty enough, to satisfy any appetite.
They even have a stick in it to hold all its yummy, deliciousness!

Do they accommodate for us poor students I hear you cry! Yes they do with a 15% student discount everyday but a DOUBLE DISCOUNT on Mondays; That's 30% off! For my usual Smokey Barbecue that's a saving of £2.15 ....or 12 tins of own brand beans in student terms!

I signed up with their newsletter and I get 2-4-1 vouchers!
(That includes student discounts!!!)

I love going here and I would recommend it to all!
