Side effects of being a male with long hair

Now, if you know me, you will know that my hair is of a long length. If you don't know me, I have now pretty much told you and you should have seen from the two earlier video posts which feature me and my hair (surprisingly).

Anyway, what I have come to experience from having my long hair is that people (mainly customers at work places) seem to be incapable of distinguishing between me being male or female, despite me sometimes sporting a beard and not really looking that feminine. Go watch the videos and you can be the judge of that one!

Now, I've had this since working in retail for the past 7 years. Customers coming from behind me to ask me a question starting with 'Excuse me miss' or 'Excuse me love', or the parents making their spawns to go to the till saying 'Give your items to the lady' and sometimes trying to cover it up by saying that they are used to seeing female cashiers/sales assistants.... Sure love. Occasionally they would apologise and be quite embarrassed but, you know, I've gotten used to it! I’ve had the ‘Alright bab’ comments, pretty much every kind of opening a female retail worker might have heard at some point.

Recently, whilst at work, I was informed of a guy walking past an aisle I was in (and working, I'm always working and don't you question otherwise!!), who had apparently looked down the aisle and made an approving look as if to say 'What a nice ass on her!'. Do people really just see the long hair and assume, 'Female! What kind of guy would have long hair!? Jeez!!’ Now, it's nice to know that my behind has been given the approval of being mentally groped, but come on people!!

Shame this kind of stuff doesn't happen when on the weekend evenings out....

I got a woman in a pub once saying to me, 'Why do you let him keep his hair that long?' Er, because it's his hair and it's none of my business what he does with it? For some reason, humanity cannot handle men with long hair. It is odd.

Having said that, you are never allowed to cut it off. Never.

lol it was funny to watch though at least you know you have a hot ass. also you have great hair. myn would be long if not for the misses. actually thats a good point why do allot of women think that cause there goin out with you they can controll you and make decisions for you. i know im a push over and id rather be growing my hair long but its that kinda thing which is bad for a relationship. wonder how long she would stay with me if i started growing it and refused to cut it. i need a vote on that. should i grow my hair or keep it short. text (blah blah blah) with 'LONG' for grow hair or 'SHORT' for dont. texts cost £1.50 + tarrif charge.
