FEEL THE LOVE.
Anyway, ready? GO:
The Wii U: Oh come on. Really? What you’ve done, Nintendo, is made the Wii again, only this time instead of giving it flail-o-matic controls, you’ve given it a bloody iPad. And you’ve DONE touch screen before. The DS, remember?! Come back to me when you actually make something new.

The Sims 3: Pets: Haven’t you released this twice already, EA?
Dance Central 2: Yay, 2 player dancing! It’s what the first game should have had! Ok, you’ll need a living room the size of a football pitch to play it, but still. I am seriously considering acquiring an Xbox 360 now the Kinect isn’t entirely a massive gimmick.

Catherine: Somewhere underneath the boobs and the bizarre marketing (boxers in a pizza box, anyone?), there’s a really cool puzzle game. Colour me intrigued, Atlus.
Silent Hill: Downpour: So, you’re doing it in 3D and the title track will be done by Korn? Well done, you broke Silent Hill. I hope you’re proud of yourselves.
PS Vita: Ok, a) the name is terrible. B), are you copying Nintendo or are they copying you? If I buy a handheld I don’t need it to connect to my PS3, because the idea is the damned thing is portable, right? Right? I’m just shouting at a brick wall, aren’t I?
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D: Just... why? Are Zelda fans REALLY going to pay again for a game they originally bought years ago? I don’t get it.

Bioshock Infinite: A non silent protagonist? Knock me down with a feather! I was excited before and I’m excited now, just... scale the boobs back a bit. They’re distracting.

Fable: The Journey: Aka horse rider simulator 5000. A Kinect Fable game, though? I may have to rethink the Xbox purchase.
Tomb Raider: You heard me last week, I’m tentatively excited. Please, please, please don’t screw this up, Square Enix.
Fruit Ninja Kinect: If you’re a fan of flailing madly in front of your TV screen, have they got a game for you. Saying that, give me a couple of beers and I’d be all over this. Plus, I’m inclined to give them a chance because their trailer was amazingly demented.
That’s everything that caught my eye over the last couple of days. When the Kinect and Playstation Move were announced, I was quick to denounce them as dumb gimmicks that would never last. Hey, I can’t always be right, can I? This E3 seems to have been all about the gimmick, whether it’s the touch screen, the motion control or the 3D. (Shudder).
Hopefully eventually all the bad ideas will die off (please God, let 3D die. No one wants it or needs it. Die in a fire), leaving us with the true innovations. I think Kinect was a step in the right direction, having the only true motion control system available, and touch screen genuinely brought new ideas to handheld gaming, but there seems to be an attitude of ‘stagnation, not innovation’ in the industry. It’s all very well bring out the DS again as a controller, but give us something NEW. Isn’t that what E3 is for?

Zelda fans will buy this new one because they have bought all the rest of them and they are not going to stop now!!
So, we'll have an xbox by the end of this year by the looks of it then?

All the games look so exciting!!
Dance Central on the Kinnect is A LOT of fun!! The technology is amazing but you can't be lazy like you could with the Wii! We've all done it before!
I'm a big fan of flailing madly in front of my TV but sometimes I do without any games or TV...i just flail :p
Fruit Nija looks interesting, combining your five a day with Ninjas, nice.
Unfortunately I will get the new Sims Pets YET AGAIN, but this time I heard they have HORSES! YAY :D
